Vi har två av de mer spelade med straffvikt (Thomas Darby) och (Third Wind).
Favoriten (Molly Ollys Wishes) är ett sto och möter killar denna gång.

She’s won on heavy ground before and she gets three miles. I had her in at Warwick last week but I was much happier to give her an extra week and be on the slower ground. It’s a strong race but I’m very happy with our horse.

He’s in good nick. If he handles the ground, he’ll win. It’s going to be very deep there. I think he’ll handle it, but I can’t be sure.
(Third Wind)
He has won at Haydock on very deep ground, although it may be even deeper on Saturday. We’ll take our chance. If things go well he’ll go for the Stayers’ Hurdle – he’ll turn up in a Grade 1 one day. We have the Pertemps option at Cheltenham too.

We’ve been very happy with him at home and hopefully he’ll run accordingly. He wouldn’t want a deluge but has handled soft ground in the past, so hopefully should cope.

He had a bit of a hiccup the time before last at Aintree, which Daryl Jacob told us to put a line through. He’s since run a funny race under a double penalty at Plumpton where he nearly pulled himself up passing the stable bend and then ran on again to be beaten not very far.”We’re putting the cheekpieces on him to help him concentrate and if he puts it in, he would go close. The only concern is if the ground goes heavy.”
(Doyen Breed)
He’s rated 142 and he’s probably not ready for the hurly-burly of a big handicap yet. This is six runners all pretty evenly matched on ratings. He ran a lovely race at Warwick and he’s growing up all the time
(Fern Hill)
We took him out of Lingfield earlier in the week because it went heavy and before that when it was too quick at Newbury. He’s all right on soft so
we’ll have a look at the ground but he goes there in good shape.

(Fakir D’oudairies) följde jag för några år sedan och gjorde en del pengar på. Hoppade bra då men har böjar hoppa sämre och kan göra en del misstag. Han kan hantera tungt och håller bra klass så förutsättningar finns för en bra prestation om rätt hoppskor sitter på.
Jag får se hur marknaden utvecklar sig samt hur underlaget blir.

It looks a very good chance for him to be competitive in Grade 1 company. He has travelled over safely and we’re excited to see how he gets on.

This has been the plan since the King George and he seems well. I’m not convinced he wants heavy rain all day and for the ground to become too testing. It will be fine if it’s not bad. It takes time to get to know them, but he’s progressed from Kempton and I think he’s in a good place. There is no standout Grade 1 performer – it’s a tight bunch and they’re all capable of running well.
(Mister Fisher)
He blew up two and half furlongs out in the King George and Sean Bowen looked after him. ”This will take a lot of winning tomorrow and he’s a good horse. He’s well and hopefully the wind dries the ground and he does the business. He ran well at Kempton last time and that form has been franked as he beat a Haldon Gold Cup winner in Eldorado Allen, who’s since won the Denman Chase.
(Dashel Drasher)
He seemed to love Ascot last year, but this year’s race looks more competitive. Fortunately, the rain has come. He is such a tenacious horse and I think that is what captures people’s imagination. It took a little while to find the key to him but once we worked out we could bowl along at his pace, we found he can put them under pressure. He is quite relentless once he gets into his stride. He has a very good cruising speed and can stick at it for quite a long time.
(Fanion D’Estruval)
It’s a good race, but an open one, so we’ll give it a good go. He’s very good and he was young last year. He was given some big tests and may have lost his way a bit, but he’s back on track and hopefully he can show how talented he is. Ascot’s a unique course and takes a lot of jumping down the back, so his solid course form is another positive.
(Lostintranslation)
A lot of horses were blown out of the water in the King George owing to the pace they went. He’s in calmer waters here. I hope he’s still a Gold Cup horse. His first run this season at Ascot suggested he was right back there. He needs to bounce back from Kempton, and then we can decide whether to go for the Gold Cup or the Grand National.

Pulled up on his first start for Williams in the Betfair Chase three months ago. He seems well but it looks very competitive,” the trainer added. ”It’s great to be involved and the ground and track suit the horse. I try not to look back too much [at Haydock] and we’ll keep marching on and look forward to Ascot now.”

It’s a big ask and we’ll see if he gets the trip but we do know he handles soft ground so hopefully he can be competitive.

(Goshen) fyllde på spelkontot senast till lite över 3.00 gånger i odds. Betydligt lägre odds idag så det blir pass. Har tidigare inte varit är helt rumsren på banan men har inte visat några tveksamman takter på slutet.

I know he’s a good horse. ”He’s going the right way now – I’m sure he would have won at Lingfield if it had been right-handed. I believe he’s as good as he’s ever been. We’ll see.”

We wanted to get a run into him before the Champion Hurdle and it was either this or the Betfair Hurdle last weekend, but we felt the smaller field would help him on his return. He did extremely well last year and backed that up with another very good run for the first time at Cheltenham this season in the Greatwood, which has had some very strong form lines.
(Faivoir)
He’s back over hurdles because there’s not really a stand-out chase for him. I don’t want to run him in handicaps off 145. He’s not going for an Arkle or to Aintree and there are valuable hurdles around to try and nick some money in, so we’ll give it a go.
(Llandinabo Lad)
He’s got it all to do on ratings, I know that. However, he wants the ground on the softer side and, in an under-subscribed race, it’s worth a go. We’re under no illusions about what he has to do, but he’s in very good form and a reproduction of his Ascot second to My Drogo would give him a chance of being a bit closer than the betting might suggest.
